Fundraising Event – Happening Soon!

Homebound Meals will host its very first Virtual Silent Auction, fondly named, “There is No Place Like Homebound Meals.” So put on your ruby slippers and follow down the yellow brick road as we have fun and raise money for our Financial Assistance fund.  Bidding will open Sunday, May 8 and end Sunday June 12.  We are sure to have many gift possibilities for your favorite moms and dads in your life. Mom’s present might be a little late this year but oh so worth it since mom will know she is sharing her gift with the gift of meals for our most vulnerable people in our community! Every dollar from this auction will go directly to fund meals for our at-risk community. That’s a win-win-win in our books!

Where is this happening? Online! https://one.bidpal.net/noplacelikehomeboundmeals.

We're only days away before the bidding starts! New items will be released every Sunday until the auction ends.

Still can’t find anything you want? You can directly purchase meals for our clients and we will be happy to send an honor or a memorial gift card to your loved one!

Get on your mark, get set, bid, give and everyone will win!!!

Serving those in Need

We Need Your Help!
Since 1971, Homebound Meals has been delivering hot meals to homebound people in our community via a large group of volunteer drivers. We have grown to be one of the leading delivery programs in the state! We pride ourselves in making sure our clients are provided with medically tailored meals, designed to reduce the effects of their chronic diseases and maintain optimal health. Our goal is to give people the choice to live and recuperate safely at home.

In order to serve our clients, regardless of their ability to pay, Homebound Meals established a Financial Assistance fund to help subsidize meal costs for people in need. In the past few years there has been an increase in the percentage of clients that are in need of our help. Nearly 60% of our clients are now receiving substantial assistance. This is where we need YOUR help.

This year we are trying to raise $50,000 to add to our fund. Throughout the next seven months, Homebound Meals will host a series of events, big and small, and ways you can help! Here we will present opportunities for you to get involved, just look for the “Go” signs.

All proceeds from this campaign will be dedicated to subsidizing meals! No fluff, no fuss, just meals!

Remember, behind these special meals are very grateful people. Here are just a few:

“Homebound Meals provided much needed meals to my 96-year-old father. He was able to stay in his own home until the very end. You do a good service and he looked forward to the deliveries – thank you.”   ~ Walter’s daughter

“I wanted to thank-you for delivering to my aunt. I am the only one she has, and I am in the military overseas. Your meals and checking on my aunt every day is reassuring for me. I really appreciate all that you do.”   ~ Jessica's niece

Please join us on this journey!
