Homebound Meals, INC has delivered hot, nutritional meals to the fort Wayne area since 1971 

Daily Hot meal delivery:

Homebound Meals delivers hot, balanced, medically tailored meals that are prepared fresh daily, and based on a 3-meal per day diet.
  • Homebound Meals' volunteers drive 20+ delivery routes each weekday, delivering the meal during the noon hour.
  • HBM statements are produced the first week of the month. Credit card payments are taken the first week of each month. The price of a meal is $6.00.  
  • Meals are delivered five days a week, Monday- Friday, except on National Holidays and adverse weather conditions. We are also closed the week of Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas and New Years.  More information on closures here. Multiple meals may be ordered for one day.
  • The meal includes a hot tray with entree, vegetable, and starch, and a cold sack with beverage, salad or fruit. A dessert is included multiple times per week if appropriate to the requested diet.
  • Clients need to call Homebound Meals no later than 6:00 p.m. the day before that they wish to cancel the meal. We cannot cancel your meal/charge after 6:00 p.m.​
  •  The Homebound Meals answering machine is available 24 hours a day. 260.422.3296 Extension 1
  • If the client is not home, Homebound Meals' volunteers will do everything we can to ascertain the client is okay.
  • Drivers cannot leave meals at a location without proper cooler storage if you do not answer the door.  You will be charged for the meal.

Bi-Weekly frozen Meal Delivery:
(Outside of Greater Fort Wayne Only)

Eat Local! Over 60% of the food used to prepare our Frozen Meal program is purchased from Indiana farms and producers, including 100% of the primary proteins, supporting over 60 Hoosier farmers and suppliers!
  • Frozen Meals are delivered bi-weekly.
  • Meals are good in the freezer for 365 days
  • Meals are good in the refrigerator for 2 weeks
  • Clients must be present to receive meals
  • Meals accommodate all of the following diets: General, Diabetic, Cardiac, Renal & Low Sodium.
  • At this time menus are not available.
  • ​Frozen meals are $5.00 each.
  • Sample Entrees:  Homestyle Meatloaf, Herbed Pork, Pot Roast, Chicken Teriyaki
  • All frozen meals include Protein, Starch & Vegetable.
  • Delivery available to rural Allen County with routes starting in Noble, Dekalb, Whitley, Huntington, Wells & Adams County soon.
